Recent shoots include ABC’s "6 Degrees of Martina McBride,” “Basic Instincts: What Would You Do” series, and Prime Time/Nascar.  I served as HD Director of Photography for ROAD TO INGWAVUMA (ing-wah-VOOM-ah), a new documentary commissioned by Deborah & Carlos Santana, featuring the Santana’s, Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Alfre Woodard, CCH Pounder, Jurnee Smollette and their families on a journey to post-apartheid South Africa.  We used both the Panasonic HVX200 and the DVX100A on this job for inclusion in the Santana family’s personal archives.  Check out the trailer online at southafricamovie.com

Other recent work includes the award-winning feature documentary IN GOOD CONSCIENCE , for which I did camera and sound -- working with legendary documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles and Peabody and Emmy award-winning filmmaker Barbara Rick.  I also contribute regularly to many network magazine shows, reality shows, industrials, documentaries and The Oprah Winfrey Show for Harpo Productions.  I shot the segment on Bob and Lee Woodruff at home for a recent special on his comeback after life-threatening injuries sustained in Iraq.  Currently, I serve as D.P. on HD instructional videos for the new venture howdini.com.  In March 2005, I d.p.’ed a four-camera shoot at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles featuring the Santana’s and the launching of Deborah Santana’s acclaimed memoir:  Space Between the Stars.   The event included original music by Carlos and his son, Salvador, with guests such as Samuel L. Jackson, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Jackson Browne, George Lopez and Alfre Woodard.  Deborah also hired us to document her booksignings in New York City for her personal archives, as well as charity events at Macy’s for their Milagro Foundation. 

I also provide camera, lighting, and sound on hi-end presentation reels for successful entrepreneurs and other productions at Emmy award-winning Out of The Blue Films, Inc.

My expertise includes cutting-edge techniques to help steady the modern lightweight cameras including the Glide-Cam and Form-A-Cam support systems.  I have a sophisticated knowledge of lighting and the equipment to go with it, including the popular Panasonic HVX-200 (SD,HD), DVX-100A 24p camera and Sony PD-150's and 170's so much in demand in these days.  My long previous experience as sound recordist for the network news broadcasts and magazine shows, feature films, documentary features, and entertainment industry ensures you get both great visuals and the all-important excellent sound.
